On a starry night, Daddy Arin and Nora were sitting on the soft grass. Daddy said, “My sweet flower girl, come on, let’s look for the real light together.”
They rode on a fluffy, pink cloud and went up into the sky. Suddenly, they saw a shining star. Daddy Arin smiled and said, “Is this our forever light?”
But when morning came, the star grew faint and hid in the brightness of the sky. Daddy Arin calmly said, “I don’t like something that disappears. Our light should always be there.”
The next night, a silver moon rose from behind the purple mountains. Nora laughed happily and clapped her hands. Daddy said, “How big and beautiful this moon is! Maybe this is the true light of the world.”
After a while, the moon also hid behind a cloud and went away. Nora felt a little sad. Daddy Arin held her small hand and said, “Don’t worry, Nora, we still haven’t found our real light.”
Suddenly, the golden sun arrived. The whole world became warm and full of light. Daddy said, “Look, Nora! This is bigger than everything! This must surely be our real light.”
But when sunset came, the sun also went away to rest. Daddy Arin said with a smile full of calm, “I love the One who has created all these beautiful lights.”
Daddy Arin lifted his hands up toward the sky. He understood that the kind God is a light that never goes out and is always awake in our hearts.
Nora and Daddy Arin returned to their little home. Their hearts were bright and warm from remembering God. Now the kind light was shining through the whole room.
Nora closed her eyes and slept peacefully. Daddy Arin told her the story of a light that is always with us. Good night, my kind girl.
