Once upon a time, there was and there wasn’t. In a green garden full of flowers, a tiny little ladybug named “Lili” lived. Lili had beautiful red wings with black spots on them.
Every morning, Lili would wake up and rub her little eyes. She was waiting for her close friend, “Taban,” the smiling sun, to come out from behind the mountains.
Suddenly, a warm golden light filled everywhere. Taban, with his round and shining face, smiled and said: “Hello, little Lili! What a beautiful day it is today!”
Happily, Lili opened her wings and flew toward the sky. She said: “Hello, kind Taban! Come, let’s play together.” With his warmth, Taban gently caressed Lili’s wings.
Taban looked down and saw a little blue flower that had become cold under the tree’s shade. Taban went a bit closer and shone his light on the flower to warm it up.
Lili sat on a shiny leaf. On the leaf, a dewdrop sparkled like a diamond. Inside the drop, Lili saw the image of Taban’s smile and became happy.
Suddenly, a piece of white, cottony cloud covered Taban. Lili laughed and said: “Hide-and-seek! Now I have to find you!”
Taban came out from behind the cloud and blew his warm breath. A gentle rain slowly began to fall, and Taban made a magical rainbow for Lili.
It became sunset. Taban was slowly getting tired. He said to Lili: “My friend, it’s time to rest. Tomorrow we will see each other again.” Lili waved her hand to him.
Night fell, and the kind moon came into the sky. Lili slept among the petals of a tulip and dreamed of the smiling sun. She knew that Taban would always remain her friend.
